Lions Club International
The Lions Club International is the world's largest service organization by consisting of 45,000 clubs and 1.3 million members. The brothers of Theta Chi Fraternity work with the local chapter of Lions Club International by selling pizza and beverages at a stand during the Market Street Festival to raise money for blind children, singing Christmas Carols for the residents of the Selinsgrove Center prior to winter break, and handing out balloons to children in the Selinsgrove Mall on St. Patrick's Day.
 
Graysonview Selinsgrove Assisted Living & Memory Care Community
The brothers of Theta Chi devote their time once a week at Graysonview Selinsgrove Assited Living & Memory Care Community. At Graysonview the brothers play Bingo as well as many other games with the residents. At the beginning and end of each academic year, the brothers barbeque and serve hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, and beverages for the residents and anyone else that would like to come!
 
Adopt-A-Highway
Adopt-A-Highway is a program run by the Pennsylvania Department of transportation, in which organizations "adopt" portions of public roads, vowing to maintain the clean liness of the sides of their alloted road. Once each semester, the brothers of Theta Chi Fraternity, Beta Omega Chapter participate in Adopt-A-Highway by cleaning up garbage along the sides of a 3-mile stretch of US-15 starting at Skeeters BBQ towards Bucknell University to the end of Snyder County.
 
The Family Hope Foundation
The Family Hope Foundation, formerly the SPUD Foundation for Children's Charities, was started by Beta Omega Chapter's very own Alumni. The Family Hope Foundation raises money to benefit families with children and young adults affected with terminal illnesses as well as supporting organizations dedicated to curing terminal illnesses. Overall, those associated with this foundation have raised over $1.5 million dollars over the past 11 years. Our fraternity hopes to bring the Family Hope Foundation back home by hosting its first annual Golf Tournament for the Family Hope Foundation Spring 2010. Please check back for more information as the Spring 2010 semester comes closer.
 
Shirlock Foundation
Theta Chi Brother Jonathan Shirlock, at Georgia Institute of Technology, fell victim to Leukemia April 6, 2007. In honor of brother Shirlock, the Shirlock Foundation was created to ease the financial burden faced by families of college students who have been diagnosed with Leukemia. The brothers of Beta Omega Chapter of Theta Chi Fraternity are currently in collaboration with the Shirlock Foundation to establish their first philanthropic event dedicated to raising money for the Shirlock Foundation. American Red Cross Blood Drives at SU
The American Red Cross visits Susquehanna University twice each semester to sponsor blood drives, in which students and members of the community come to donate blood. The brothers participate in each blood drive by either loading equiptment in and out of the blood drive at its beginning and end, or working at the canteen to ensure that Blood Donors are adequately rehydrated and refueled to continue with their day.
 
Relay for Life
Relay for Life is a fundrasing program sponsored by the American Cancer Society, in which participants form teams to raise money for the American Cancer Society. The brothers of the Beta Omega Chapter of Theta Chi Fraternity enroll in Relay for Life every year as a team and walk laps around the track in an effort to fight against cancer.
